About You

• Frontend-first, full-stack fluent – React/TypeScript is your home base, but you’re comfortable spinning up Django/FastAPI endpoints when the UI needs new data or write paths.
• Product-minded – You partner with design and PM to shape polished admin consoles, dashboards, and configuration panels that feel effortless.
• Architect & shipper – You balance clean, scalable patterns with pragmatic delivery; code reviews, tests, and docs are default, not afterthoughts.
• Owner mentality – You thrive in ambiguity, push for clarity, and love turning green-field ideas into customer-visible wins.
• Growth-oriented – Curious about travel-tech, data-viz, and LLM-powered UX; eager to raise the engineering bar for the whole team.

What You’ll Do

• Build delightful UIs – Traveler self-service flows, finance dashboards, policy editors, and global-admin consoles in React/TS.
• Own the design system – Evolve our component library, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
• Expose data – Design and implement Django/FastAPI endpoints and schemas that power real-time analytics and config writes.
• Data-driven visualization – Surface savings, adoption, and SLA metrics with interactive charts and tables.
• Integrate channels – Embed rich UI snippets into Slack & Teams apps; craft adaptive cards and modals.
• Raise standards – Mentor peers, enforce code quality, improve CI/CD, and advocate for performance, testing, and monitoring best practices.

This is an informal call for us to meet each other and get to know one another. The conversation will cover some light technical discussion about your past projects and your ability to code and build fairly involved systems. We would like to hear details about those projects and both your product and technical decisions (good or bad) which show ownership and autonomy. We also want to understand what you are looking for in your next role and why you are interested in early-stage startups. You will get to ask us about the role and learn about what working at SkyLink will feel like.

Two technical interviews

These technical interviews will give you an ability to show off your system design and frontend/backend programming skills. We will evaluate your ability to critically think, create complex backends, and scale real world systems. Additionally, we will discuss your familiarity or interest in AI and Large Language models.
