About the role

As an Account Manager at Healia Health, you will be the leader for a portfolio of business clients, responsible for maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction. You will serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them navigate their Healia benefit program, resolve issues promptly, and identify opportunities for growth. You'll balance day-to-day account management with strategic initiatives to maximize retention and expand your accounts. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) based in Columbus, OH.

✅ Your responsibilities will include...

  • Relationship Building: Create and nurture deep relationships with key stakeholders at client companies, understanding their unique benefits needs and how Healia can address them
  • Client Engagement: Conduct regular client meetings throughout the year to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify upsell opportunities
  • Account Management: Proactively monitor account health metrics to identify at-risk accounts and develop action plans to improve retention
  • Customer Support: Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, enrollee support questions, and claims review processes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Claims, Product, & Engineering) to resolve client issues efficiently and advocate for client needs
  • Employee Assistance: Review and assist with enrollee claims questions, serving as a liaison between clients and our claims processing team
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute account growth strategies to drive upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Operational Planning: Create detailed account plans and documentation including success criteria, standard operating procedures, and training materials
  • Performance Goals: Meet or exceed retention and account growth targets, balancing the dual mandate of client satisfaction and revenue expansion

🚀 You'll be successful in this role if you...

  • Have 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or strategic client-facing roles
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
  • Excel at problem solving, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling client information.
  • Have a data-driven approach to account management with the ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into action
  • Are a natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys working with clients and solving their problems

  • Prior experience at a startup
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • Experience using CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Understanding of healthcare benefits regulatory environment
