About the role

Diversion is GitHub for the creative industries. Our first clients include game development, video production, VR, 3D visualization, and animation companies - developers and artists who value Diversion’s seamless scalability, intuitive interface, and real-time collaboration. We’ve built the world’s first fully cloud-based version management platform. Our mission is to simplify and accelerate software and entertainment creation by delivering powerful, easy-to-use, and universally accessible tools.

We are a VC-funded, Y Combinator alum startup established by experienced entrepreneurs, with a core team of exceptional engineers, aiming to make a significant impact in the tech industry.

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sharp Support Engineer to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to break into the tech world through a role that sits at the intersection of engineering and customer success, with a strong potential to grow into an R&D role over time, based on performance.

In this role, you’ll:

Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues using logs, monitoring tools, and direct queries across systems like AWS, MongoDB, and MySQL.
Work closely with engineering to escalate and solve technical challenges.
Develop a deep understanding of Diversion’s system architecture and components.
Interact directly with customers to understand, document, and support their technical needs.
Help improve internal tools and processes to make support more efficient and scalable.

We are looking for someone with:

Relevant military tech experience or a B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
Unreal Engine training
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to dive into technical details and learn fast
High-level communication skills, especially in technical contexts
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS – a plus)
Basic experience querying databases (MySQL, MongoDB – a plus)
Desire to grow into an engineering track in the future

We work on-site in Sarona, Tel Aviv (full-time job).
