About Phonely
We’re building the infrastructure to power billions of AI phone calls. Phonely is a full-stack platform that lets businesses build, simulate, and deploy AI voice agents — with human-level performance, sub-second latency, and enterprise-grade reliability.
We’ve grown 30% month for the past 6 months, with zero paid ads. Now we’re growing fast and need a DevOps Engineer to help us keep everything running at 99.999% uptime as we scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and evolve our infrastructure across GCP, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
- Maintain and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment flows.
- Implement and improve GitOps workflows for fast, safe rollouts.
- Monitor our systems with Datadog and build alerting that’s smart, not noisy.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to support rapid iteration and high reliability.
- Help us scale from thousands to millions of real-time voice interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and Argo CD
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Comfort with monitoring + observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)
- Solid understanding of modern GitOps practices and container workflows
Bonus Points
- You’ve built or scaled infra for real-time systems (audio/video, low-latency APIs)
- You’ve worked in early-stage environments with fast-moving deploy cycles
- You’re obsessed with reliability but know when to move fast
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or policy-as-code frameworks
