Labric makes data and AI infrastructure for scientific research labs. We unite hundreds of scattered data sources, especially lab instruments, into one central nervous system for the lab.

The Problem

Despite pushing the boundaries of chemistry, biology, and materials science, many of the world’s top research labs still run on outdated tools. Lab instruments dump data into Excel spreadsheets. Scientists email these files to themselves. In some cases, labs shell out for clunky custom databases built by consultants that are rarely maintained, and never integrated with modern analysis tools.

The result? PhDs spend hours cleaning and wrangling data instead of making scientific breakthroughs. Labs operate with fragmented, siloed information, unable to collaborate effectively or scale insights across projects. The friction is so normalized, it's invisible — but it's one of the biggest bottlenecks in research today.

  2. Data Consolidation: We integrate seamlessly with Notion, Excel, Sheets, and Drive, bringing all your data together in one place.
  3. Web Platform: Access, search, and analyze all your lab’s data in one unified interface.

With AI integrated at every layer, we’re unlocking smarter, faster research without sacrificing reproducibility or context. We've already seen how better data infra can lead to more collaboration, better experiments, and more time doing real science.

Who We Are

Caitlin led data infrastructure at a materials science startup for 4 years, building from the ground up. Connor previously worked on database products at Google. Our team combines deep technical chops with a first-hand understanding of lab chaos.
