Our Journey

We’re Dominik and Efren, on a mission to make mental healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone, everywhere. We met in 2018 while scaling a hyperscale startup - Efren as a founding engineer, and Dom as the first operator after starting his career at BCG. Since then, we’ve been building together, driven by a shared belief that AI and data will radically improve how patient care is delivered.

The Problem

Nearly 50 million Americans live with a mental health condition and that number grows by 1.5 million each year. Meanwhile, the U.S. is facing a growing shortage of 30,000 mental health clinicians, making it harder to meet rising demand.

But the real crisis isn’t just the clinician shortage - it’s that the antiquated, fragmented systems around them can’t keep up.

Even when providers are available, clinics struggle to manage the load. Intake calls go unanswered. Reschedules and refill requests fall through the cracks. Front desk staff are buried under hundreds of voicemails, forms, and follow-ups every week. Clinicians themselves spend more than half their time on documentation and admin, not with patients.

This operational drag is a massive bottleneck. Patients wait weeks for care, staff burn out, and clinics lose revenue on missed appointments and delayed treatment.

The result is a fragmented system that costs the U.S. healthcare system $300 billion annually due to delayed treatment, poor access, and administrative inefficiencies.

The Solution

One year ago, we launched our AI Clinical Assistant to help clinicians reclaim their time by automating clinical documentation, pre-charting, and treatment planning. It's now been used in over 1 million patient sessions.

Now we’ve launched Sarah, our AI Admissions Coordinator, to help patients access care faster by eliminating missed calls, delays, and administrative friction.
