Software Engineering Intern

We are looking for a fall semester intern to build new products from 0 to 1. Gander interns work in-person at our NYC office and have the opportunity to apply the latest AI technologies to the aviation industry (desktop agents, multi-modal LLMs, and more).

Technologies:

• We use Next.js, React, Vercel, and Supabase extensively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create great software. Take product requirements and turn them into beautiful, reliable, and high quality software, multiplying your impact with code-gen tools.
• Lead product development. Lead end-to-end technical execution and have full ownership of the software development lifecycle.
• Design system architecture. Design and implement the architecture and tech stack that will serve as the backbone for our platform. Balance scalability, speed, and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• End-to-end. Has experience building all parts of software, from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment.
• Adaptable. Can quickly and iteratively respond to the needs of customers, turning product changes around on tight timelines.
• AI-first. Has a strong understanding of how to implement AI systems into SaaS products and is eager to build AI agents.
