Position Overview

The Founding Cloud Operations Engineer will grow with our organization and actively learn alongside the CTO; improving our infrastructure, security and operations as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Infrastructure Operations: Incrementally improve stability, security and maintainability of our cloud environments.
• Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and security event monitoring.
• Change Management: For compliance, we must track changes to infrastructure through a chance management system.
• Security Advocate: The weakest link in any security system are it’s people. Being a consistent advocate for strong security practices improves the posture of the whole company.
• ‘DevOps’ Practices: Maintain and optimize our CI/CD system, and contribute to internal tooling
• Customer Interactions: You will regularly interact with IT teams from our customers to provide support, or for enterprise customers help deploy into their network

Need to Have

• Strong experience with Cloud Service Providers, Terraform, Docker, Github Actions, SQL Databases, Enterprise Networking
• A Relevant degree or program in software/computer engineering or a security-related field

Nice to Have

• A US Citizen - due to the nature of our initial customer base, it is helpful to be a US citizen for data access to provide support or to go on-site with a portion of customers.
• Past experience as an SRE, SOC or other related role
• Experience in IT customer support
• Web Development experience
